Registration
Registration is easy. Here are the registration requirements:
1. Vaccinations must be up-to-date with a record from your veterinarian. Vaccinations include: rabies, DHLPP (distemper), bordetella (with bi-annual boosters), parvo, year-round flea medications used, and proof of a negative fecal test within the last six months. We must see that the vaccinations are up to date BEFORE the interview appointment for the well-being of all of the dogs in the building.
2. Dogs need to be at least 16 weeks old, and spayed or neutered by 1 year old.
3. Call for an appointment for an introductory interview. During this 'meet and greet' we observe your dog for very specific behaviors. We look for dominant behavior, growling or aggression. Dogs in a communal setting must be ready to play and have fun. If your dog is more interested in proving dominance or avoiding interaction with other dogs, it doesn't mean you have a bad dog... they just don't want to be here and would be happier at home.
4. Please bring the completed enrollment form, client agreement, and vet's immunization record to your 'meet and greet'. For your convenience, these forms can be downloaded from this site or you can pick them up any time at The Canine Club. We want to be certain your dog has everything he or she needs to come and play!
